Introduction:
China will soon enter WTO. Domestic and foreign markets are being
further opened up. We are facing the shift of governmental functions
and institution reform. Investment promotion work, as an important
trade with the task of facilitating economic development, is facing
opportunities and challenges. It is high time that we strengthen
communication and cooperation among investment promotion departments
across the country and elevate the investment promotion work to
a more professional standard and international level.
Backed by the resources advantage of CBD and on the platform established
by Beijing Chaoyang International Business Festival, the Investment
Promotion Trade Summit Meeting will be beneficial to the cooperation
of all investment promotion institutions. In this way we can raise
efficiency and form scale economic effect. It is also easy for relevant
institutions of the state to offer guidance to investment promotion
institutions. It will be propitious to heighten the level of the
whole trade. With the active participation of people of the same
trade, this meeting will contribute to the arrival of the investment
promotion's era.
The first session of Investment Promotion Trade Summit Meeting will
be co-sponsored by China Mayor Association, International Commerce
Newspaper, and the Organizing Committee of the second session of
Beijing Chaoyang International Business Festival. The aim of this
meeting is "communication, cooperation and elevation".
The series of activities are as follows: "investment promotion
practice training", "talk between Chinese and foreign
investment promotion institution", "investment promotion
experience exchange meeting". Representatives from domestic
and foreign investment promotion institutions, specialists and officials
from relevant governmental departments will carry out extensive
communication and discussions. On the occasion, we will comprehensively
advertise the investment promotion environment and investment projects
of different districts. Every attendee will get the most with a
little devotion.
